We are postponing this outage until further notice and have removed Slurm reservations accordingly.
Please note that, whilst we always endeavour to avoid any disruption to active workloads, this outage may be rescheduled with less than ideal notice and result in some disruption to active long-running jobs. The work planned during the outage is critical to upgrade and extension of the Mahuika system, so availability of contractors may necessarily take precedence. In this eventuality any impacted users will be able to work with NeSI support to expedite restart/rerun of urgent workloads.

Update
Good morning all. The planned outage of the Greta Point facility on the 19th, impacting Māui and Mahuika, is cancelled due to our heightened COVID19 alert level. We are actively working to reschedule with a current tentative target of the 26th, but this will be reviewed over the next 24 hours and may be pushed out further. Slurm reservations for the outage have been moved, so jobs with walltime ending before 0615 on the 26th will now be able to run. Kia kaha!

A reminder that this Thursday (19th of August) we have a planned maintenance. We plan to start 45 minutes sooner, at 0615hrs (instead of 0700hrs).

We will be undertaking planned system maintenance on Maui and Mahuika on Thursday Aug 19th from 0615hrs. All systems will be down for the duration. Slurm jobs will not run or be submitted during this maintenance.
